Creating Effortless Power for the Golf Swing
Creating power and hitting bombs is a necessity if you want to score lower and dominate on the course in 2026.

1. Apply more force in the swing- more weight, stronger muscles. This is why bigger guys can hit the ball further and why PGA Athletes have become physically stronger than their predecessors. Bryson Dechambeau for example.
2. Increase arm and hand speed- speed training, increasing a whipping torque force by releasing the hands, or extending your trail arm. Just like the tail end of a whip.
3. Lengthening the swing to give yourself more time to create speed and force. Think of a slingshot or bow and arrow that can only operate lethally due to how far you stretch the string. Storing more energy will release more energy.
Now the question becomes...How do I translate this into my game?
The most important step is to develop a weekly routine that revolves around mobility, strength training, and speed training. Other important factors include proper sleep, a high quality diet, and hydrating properly.
