The tournament golf enthusiast have anticipated watching the best golfers in the world take on what some describe as "heaven on earth". The manicured bermuda overseeded with rye grass carved between the rolling hills amongst the Georgia pines and azalea bushes.
If there is anything golfers should pay attention to and appreciate this season and Masters tournament is how things come alive in the spring of a moment. The tension of coming down the stretch while holding together a solid round. That 30 foot birdie that falls in and builds confidence. The roar of a crowd in past tournaments that signifies to players they need to step into their performance. Anything can happen.
In order to let things happen though the key steps prior need to be done. The grass is not going to cut itself, your swing is going to magically appear, your body isn't going grow stronger without exercising, and your mind isn't going to feel relaxed if it is unprepared and reaching a flow state of mind.
As golfers and athletes we must prepare for the proper seasons whether it is training, practicing, recovering, and following the right processes that create results. Over the past few months of February and March I have seen transformations amongst my trusted clients that all started with faith and persistence to obtain the small goals to reach the big goal. The stage is being put into place and the moments call for performance. It is our duty together to build up for these moments and spring into action when called to do so.
Pay attention to the golfers that reach a flow state during the Masters this weekend, you will clearly see which players have properly prioritized their game, health, psychological well-being, attitude, and processes to produce a result on golf's largest stage.
